Meet Dr. Nadine N. Richards

Dr. Nadine N. Richards is a strategic leadership advisor and institutional strategist who partners with boards, executives, and senior leadership teams navigating complexity, transition, and growth. As Founder and CEO of Nadine Inspires® LLC, she advises organizations on governance, leadership alignment, and systems strategy—building durable capacity for long-term, institutional impact.

With more than two decades of senior leadership across U.S. public schools, independent schools, and international education systems, Dr. Richards has served as Head of School in Dubai, Assistant Head of School for Institutional Strategy at Roland Park Country School, and Principal at the American School of Dubai. Her career also includes senior leadership roles in New York City and Long Island public school systems. She currently serves as Director of Global Recruitment Strategy & Partnerships at International Schools Services and as an adjunct professor mentoring emerging school and system leaders.

Dr. Richards is the author of Roses from Concrete: A Black Feminist Leadership Model for School Reform and the forthcoming The Orchid and the Fire. Her advisory work is grounded in proprietary, research- and practice-based frameworks she developed—BFLM® (Black Feminist Leadership Model®), Orchid-Fire™, and PAIR™—which integrate rigorous scholarship, systems thinking, and cultural intelligence to support courageous, future-ready leadership.

Grounded in global practice and lived experience, Dr. Richards brings a leadership lens shaped by clarity, judgment, and justice. Her work supports leaders not only to make sound decisions in complex environments, but to build institutions that endure.
